I was wondering whether anyone knew of any reason why NoSHame's website (www.noshamefilms.com) makes no mention of the fact that they recently issued 'Ubalda - All Naked and Warm' and 'Giovannona Long-Thigh'? While I find it hard to imagine that they are being in any way censorious or snobbish, I'm hard pushed to come up with anything better (in the absense of actual fact).

Ordinarily I find that NoShame is great at flagging upcoming titles (which triggers an order from me every time), but as it stands visitors to their site are currently being told nothing about future releases.

I, for one, would like to know what I might be missing from this great label...

They've been kind of quiet lately and that's too bad. Hope they will keep going strong and release more great discs. They did a great job on the Italo-crime and giallo films they released! I want more!

Someone needs to pick up BIANCO VESTITO PER MARIALE. Fiorenzo Carpi's Bruno Nicolai-conducted score is out on CD (I'm not too familiar with Carpi's music but it sounds like Gemelli-era Bruno Nicolai music).

I was rereading a back issue of Video Watchdog yesterday. How about THE THIRD EYE (Mino Guerrini) of which BUIO OMEGA is a remake? Also in that same issue HOTEL OF FEAR by Francisco Barilli (PERFUME OF A LADY IN BLACK)? The Barilli film is another, like MARIALE in the above post, that has a soundtrack CD out (from Digitmovies) but the film itself has not been widely available (and neither of these two appear to have been dubbed into English either).

There are only a few things I need to buy from this sale, since I've been buying up nearly every NoShame release since they started. I'm very disturbed by the silence on their web site.

It works out to about $10.00 per movie (not bad). The DARK WATERS is an upgrade from the unimpressive York DEAD WATERS (what's with the name difference)? The crime stuff was tempting, but giallo will do, especially since I haven't really picked any up since Anchor Bay's yellow box. If there are issues with NoShame then some of these titles could get hard to find/expensive before you know it (woe to me for not picking up AB's THE ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN), and if there is no problem, doesn't mean they'll keep them in print.
