Title: DOCTOR WHO advent calendar

For those in the US going through DOCTOR WHO withdrawal like me, the BBC website has a fun advent calendar with different goodies hidden behind each date:

There's a videoed commentary behind the 6th with David Tennant, writer Russell T. Davies and a third guy [producer? director?] for the series 2 episode "New Earth". I was amused to hear DT say that Billie Piper's boyfriend broke the Face of Bo.

Thanks for the tip. Season Two had its ups and downs--I'm never going to fully cotton to Tennant, who is effective in quieter moments but more like "cuddly Dudley" Moore than, say, Jim Carrey, when manic (which is too much of the time--perhaps it'll be time to change Doctors at the end of Season Three?). But Billie Piper, happily, recovered her Rose-ness well before the enthralling "Army of Ghosts" and "Doomsday" double-header--absolutely delightful television, and a dream match-up for Who fans ("Exterminate!" "Delete!"). My wife and I have stopped playing Cyberman vs. Dalek but we're still smiling :) . I hear the Christmas 06 episode, with the outraged bride, was fun.

Also of note: The first episode of 'The Sarah Jane Adventures' has been broadcast today (4:30 GMT). I know it's a 'children's show', but then so was/is 'Doctor Who'. Anyone catch it?
