Heard very little info from a friend, that the latest ZATOICHI from Takeshi Kitano that was released on a double bill, 2 dvd set w/ SONATINE, here in the US, is now going to have just a special/limited editon release of ZATOICHI sometime early this coming year?

I really didn't get any details about the release at all, except that there is a SE/LE set coming out. So I figuered the good & knowledgable folks out here would know something about it? Is it a US release or another Country? Any info whatsoever about the release, with some/all of it's contents, or direct me somewhere where I can read more about it, would be greatly appreciated.

Not to be ungrateful of the work done by certain DVD companies, I'd be remiss if I didn't say that somtimes I wish they'd just save the special edition for special films.
