This may be somewhat tangentially film/tv-related, but I thought i'd post a link anyway:

Wired Magazine's Table of Malcontents blog posted a link to a collection of the public doman (I think) library music used on Ren & Stimpy that someone assembled. A lot of these tracks are pretty short, so playing these files shuffled would probably work well. I think The Simpsons has also used some of this music (The music used in Homer's daydream about "the land of chocolate" from the episode where Germans buy the power plant is probably in here).

I'm wondering why 192kbps mp3s are the uniform file format for nearly all music blogs (Endless Mike even has "192 is good enough for you" as its motto). I'd love to see someone post lossless FLAC files of stuff like this, that's my format of choice for preserving rare CDs and LPs.

Update: I thought this collection had some Raymond Scott music, but it doesn't seem to have any. Here's some that you can get from Endless Mike:

On a John K. note, I noticed that he created the TENACIOUS D opening logo (the THC - "everybody is baked" treatment) before the film. Only mildly funny, but I'm sure it was Black/Gass' idea and just his execution.
