dave fredriksen - November 13, 2006 06:20 PM (GMT)
Who will be re-leasing (as well as upgrading. re-mastering, etc) and what will be released in 2007 - NSTC Region 1? I can't recall the exact rumour - was it Anchor Bay? What are the chances of this truly occuring? Any updates? Heresay or fact?

Tim Lucas - November 13, 2006 06:38 PM (GMT)
Anchor Bay. Fact.

They will tell you more when they want people to know.

Will this include the titles that were held by VCI?

The Whip and the Body
Kill Baby, Kill
Blood and Black Lace

I think KILL BABY KILL is being done by Dark Sky Films, isn't it?

Dark Sky does list KILL BABY KILL, and, according to DVD Drive-In, there's a trailer preview of it on Dark Sky's coming release of BLOOD OF THE VAMPIRE/THE HELLFIRE CLUB, due next week.

ERIK THE CONQUEROR is expected from Anchor Bay, aside from some resissues.

On a related note, Dark Sky has a February date for their DVD of JESS FRANCO'S DRACULA. I have seen a running time listed of 97 minutes, but that sounds a bit long. We shall see.

Could anyone recommend the italian "Four times that night" DVD from Rarovideo? How does it compare to the OOP image DVD?

Eric Cotenas - November 17, 2006 01:42 AM (GMT)
I asked about this one a while back here or on another board. Apparently the Raro is a bad NTSC-PAL conversion.
