A while ago I started a discussion about annoying TV spots. I've forgotten what I wrote about then and I'll probaby forget this one in a while but here it is:

Am I the only one that finds those TV spots for the film MARIE ANTOINETTE annoying?

I'm sure the film will look good as far as sets, costumes, and cinematography (though I don't find either star particularly appealing and I have no idea whose in the supporting cast) but those TV spots scored with a whiny-rock vocal are getting way too much airtime.

Then again, I suppose the film isn't being marketed to my demographic (at least, I hope not).

Oh, and let's not forget ABC's promos for their primetime line-up ("Where television goes to feel good"). Ugh.
