Just a head's up. If you haven't managed to see Series 2 of Doctor Who and the start of David Tennent's Doctor Sci-Fi is Showing the first two eps of Series 2 'The Christmas Invasion' (technically the Christmas Special isn't Series 1 or 2) and 'New Earth' starting at 7:00 pm central and repeating at 9:30 pm central.
If you haven't made up your minds, I'd just like to add that this second season has moments where you feel like you're dreaming with your eyes wide open. DOCTOR WHO has rediscovered its sense of wonder, and the two-part climax is the most spectacular, tense, thrilling and emotional DOCTOR WHO serial ever. It's a major revelation. It takes all season for Tennant to finally get some serious drama to work with, so much of the season he comes off as being much lighter and less full of depth than Eccleston's mysterious and closed-lipped Doctor. But it's a worthy dramatic arc to stick with. And by the time it's over I find myself in great expectation for another Tennant season (and a new sexed-up companion) A highly rewarding season. I can hardly wait for the next one, and the spin-off series TORCHWOOD.
