The recap and voiceover at the start is lame, the title sequence is another 'one-word-graphic-with-music-sting' that was 'original' two years ago with 'LOST' and then abused with last season's Sci-Fi crop. But Vanished has a devolping presence and layered plot, clearly coming off the back of '24' meets 'CSI', but smelling second tier like 'Surface/Threshold/Invasion' - but somhow it works better than second tier. Is it a 1.5? So far, I am in for the ride!
