Just saw the news at IMDB. Mickey Hargitay died last Thursday after a "mysterious illness." He gave one of my all time fave Euro cult performances in DELIRIO CALDO.

It was "multiple myeloma," whatever that is.

Very sad news. Too many deaths lately! I really liked Mickey! Not just because of his performances but also because of his great interview on the Anchor Bay disc of DELIRIO CALDO. I think his words about human relationships were wise. RIP...

Sad news indeed. Although he was mostly famous for his marriage with Jayne Mansfielsd and he only made a handful of films, his hilarious performances in BLOODY PIT OF HORROR, THE LOVES OF HERCULES, DELIRIUM and REINCARNATION OF ISABEL makes him one of my alltime favorite eurotrash-actors. Also, he seemed like a really sweet guy. RIP
