Title: THE TOUCHABLES at the Library of Congress!

The Mary Pickford Theater at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. showed the British 60s cult flick THE TOUCHABLES (1968) on Friday Dec. 3!! Another instance of no publicity equalling major disappointment for local cult film fans! Did anyone locally get to attend the screening? I imagine the print shown must have been in good shape; it had to be better than the print making the rounds on the grey market!

On a related note, what are everyone's thoughts on the film? I think it's kinda slow in the middle, but the first 20 minutes and the final 25 minutes are such great fun, and even when the pace drags, there are enough pop art sequences and beautiful girls to keep one interested. The theme song by Nirvana (the 60s group!) is a hands-down classic.
