Even though I live in Illinois and have to pay sales tax, these extra 20% off sales are, by far, the best bargain for online shopping. AND, I always find something else that I want after making a purchase, so it's nice to have back-ups codes.
BTW, "SUPERSALE" is another code word.

One warning: The DDD website is freezing/jamming frequently (probably due to the traffic) and I just discovered that during one of those my order had the discount removed. So now I have to see if they'll credit the discount or cancel the order and their customer service usually hasn't been very impressive.

I generally know about the sale because it's typically in the latter half of November. I knew precisely because I lurk about half a dozen dvd related sites (from where I aggregated the info). There was one last summer too, in July I think, but it was the first time so no one's sure if it will be repeated.
Yes, the DDD server is being hammered (or /.ed if you prefer). It took me about 2+ hours to get my order in Sunday.
