Col. Friedman, the classiest man in exploitation, is apparently putting up the money to remake SHE-FREAK in 2005! IMDB has an entry for it, including a gorgeous early poster concept. The director will be Tim Sullivan, who worked on DEADLY SPAWN and is also directing 2001 MANIACS for Friedman.

It seems that it's not a scene-by-scene remake, with the storyline taking a marked new direction from the original (i.e., this one won't be a remake of Browning's FREAKS).
