I can't believe I forgot about QB VII. I just saw it in 2010, and it's a stunning work the likes of which you'll never see on network television again? Can you imagine a television network of today assembling a cast like QB VII's and traveling around the work to shoot an important literary work about the Holocaust?
I blogged about Gazzara a few times:
His television series ARREST AND TRIALCAPONE
, a Roger Corman productionQB VII
An obscure 1964 TV production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL
I love ANATOMY OF A MURDER (it's better than the book). I don't know how many dozens of times I've seen ROAD HOUSE, and when I saw it screened at B-Fest last weekend, well, I wish I had known how sick he was, so I could have shouted a bravo at the screen.
