The sage of shuttered Kim's Video takes another unusual turn. It seems that a gaggle of orphaned employees have formed The Third Floor:

They are kicking things off on October 30th with a screening of Robin Hardy's The Wicker Man (1973).* Hardy will be in attendance (with other guests hinted at) for a Q&A and also to present footage from his new follow-up The Wicker Tree (much better title!) which also stars Christopher Lee.

Following this will be an evening of various musicians performing music from and inspired by Paul Giovanni's folk music from the film. $20 for the whole shebang, downtown on Hudson St. Purchase tickets at this link:
