Title: Has anyone seen THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE BRDVD?
Description: A pricing dilemma

I noticed that Best Buy has the Dark Sky 2 disc release of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE for about five dollars. Being as I don't have this release, it looks like a great buy. Then again, it's also available on Blue Ray.
Is there a big difference in the two that would justify me waiting and getting the Blue Ray as I'm upgrading to Blue later this year? That price is really tempting.

If you haven't seen this transfer yet, I say wait for Blu-ray.
Shock. And. Awe.

I would say there won't be a huge difference in picture quality, but unless you're desperate to see the film again now, you should really wait and get the Bluray (knowing you're definitely getting a player you could even pick one up before you get a player) especially as the DVD might be the first pressing with the audio missing some of the screaming. I never picked up the DS release due to the audio issue and was eventually thankful I didn't as it meant I wasn't triple (or quadruple) dipping when I bought the Bluray.

The bluray usually goes pretty cheaply, too (it's $12 on Amazon), so the price difference isn't going to be huge.

Did Dark Sky ever correct the problems with the audio remix on the DVD? It is corrected on the Blu-ray (which I have and definitely recommend).

I was wondering about that, John - I'll have to pick up the Blu-ray.
