This aired at least once before and may be of interest if you didn't catch it the first go round. It's a 31 minute, b&w documentary/expose, hosted by George Putnam, covering the proliferation of adult magazines on America's newsstands in the mid-1960s. "Adult" meaning, not Playboy and the like, but risque, adult bookstore mags, the kind that Sal Mineo stops to peruse in the scene in WHO KILLED TEDDY BEAR. The doc actually shows specific examples of the mags, with Putnam citing prurient content and photos (fetishes, S&M, homosexuality, etc.). Campy, for sure, but it is also an interesting time piece/document about vintage mags of this type. TCM will be airing it tonight, late Friday/early Saturday at 2:15am PST.
Thanks for the heads up...I was recording Underground but might have missed this.
There was a post about PERVERSION FOR PROFIT here a couple years back and a link to where you could see it.
Just did a quick check and it's on youtube now.
