While not strictly European, this album by the Secret Chiefs 3 is a perfect recreation of a 70's giallo soundtrack. Its all here: the Cipriani-like main theme (Sophia's Theme), the discordant Morricone-esque stalking music with wild female vocal (What's Wrong with Cytherea?) and even faux-Goblin (Zombievision). Secret Chiefs 3 is fronted by Trey Spruance, formerly of Mr. Bungle and Faith No More. Recommended to anyone who's ever bought a giallo soundtrack.

This release is actually one of their satallite groups The Traditionalists. Once Trey's finished releasing SC3 albums he'll break of into 7 different "bands" that play a specific genre.
