Easily my most anticipated action flick of this year!

Those aren't exactly New York City subway cars now, are they? If Golden Age Roger Corman was directing today, he'd have shot those scenes on TAKING OF PELHAM's actual subway cars during Tony Scott's downtime. Whatever happened to B-movie ingenuity? :o

Well, if you're an indie filmmaker who only wants his immediate family to see the movie, that'd matter. From where I'm sitting it's a subway car. Heck, we don't even have a subway here to compare it to. An International filmmaker recognizes that his audience isn't going to quibble about geographic integrity, authentic colloquialisms and so on because they don't matter that much outside the country of origin. Doesn't matter to me if it's Vancouver or Prague doubling for Seattle or New York to me. Tallest building in this country is 17 storeys; I'm just gobsmacked to be watching things happen in and around skyscrapers. Were there any other problems with verisimilitude evident in the ninja movie trailer?

Whoa, wait a sec, Brian. The EPCOT monorail train of Montreal was good enough to fake a NYC subway for you in Punisher War Zone, but not this? Why? 'Cuz Punishers are fake and Ninjas are real?!?

PWZ takes place in an alternate universe New York where anything is possible. :D

Although Isaac Florentine has experience with an alternate universe himself--Angel Grove from the Power Rangers episodes he directed, a town with sections that look strangely like Los Angeles and sections that look strangely like Tokyo--complete with Japanese signs! If he'd used that setting for NINJA, I'd be a lot happier.
