Title: An Apprecation of Michael York. Description:A Great 70's Film Icon
Box - April 6, 2008 11:07 PM (GMT)
I have always been a big fan of Michael York. I saw Logan's Run the day it hit the theaters  and in those days you could stay twice or more if you really wanted too. So my pals and I did, I mean, Jenny Agutter is a bit naked in this film and really hawt.
Anyway, back to Mr. York. Saw him the Three Musketeers in that same theater in my home town, a place now long gone and replaced by a bus terminal.
Michael York is just one of those refined old style film actors, lots of class, kept his dignity in check and has never resulted to public spectacle no matter where his career might be (and many former stars are not so graceful in these days.)
No forum like this is complete without at least a single retrospective on the man who brought the character Logan 5 alive. If you have any cool images, I hope you can share them.
(Please, no TV show LR stuff, :omg: that stuff is horrid.)

Hi Box,
Welcome to the Circuit!
Along with "Logan's Run", I think Michael's roles in "Caberet", "The Three Musketeers" and "The Island of Dr Moreau" are some of his other best classic works!
A great accomplished actor and speaker all around!

I had the privilege of seeing him last summer in "Camelot" when the production came to Toronto. :)
