and feaures a summary of the script that Bryan Singer developed when
he was attached to the new Logan film. As I recall Singer mentioning, his
version incorporates elements of the original novel and film, and new ideas

Very interesting take on the material from Singer. I like the idea of introducing a new Sandman character (Morah) and exploring in further detail the friendship and struggles between Francis and Logan.

Also liked the Doyle runner sequence (taken from the LR novel - but with a different end).

I was upset that they didn't use BOX or the Cubs in any way. Those were two of the most popular characters from the Book and first movie.

Also - what happened to Doc and Holly.

It also sounds like this film would not have explored the original novel's overall theme - in that wisdom comes from age and experience and how can a world survive WITHOUT such age, wisdom and experience. The Singer movie seems like it was more strictly geared towards Action/Adventure - instead of the interesting Science Fiction themes from the original novel.

It still sounds like an interesting movie that 'could have been', but I would've been upset to not see those other characters that made the original book so much fun.

It would be nice to read the entire script. Maybe one day it'll surface somewhere.

Morah stuck me as an Evans wannabe.

I'm not thrilled that it doesn't take place on Earth.

No Doc or Holly ???

No Old Man is fine, but no Ballard???

I missed the cubscouts and Box too. Big misteak.

The Logan-Jessica romance downplayed. Bigger misteak.

No Angles Complex, or City of Domes but this all takes place in a tube that's not on Earth. Biggest misteak.

My guess is they reversed to locations of the Complex(es) and Santuary.

I'm glad this isn't being used. I expect much better of Bryan Singer.
