I just saw the ad on the scifi channel for Logan's Run! Thought it was the movie, then saw Heather menzies! thought my mind was playing tricks on me, I am beyond happy right now. Of course I will be recording every episode staight to DVD, I will organise a way to get you all sets, although now it is out, I bet it won't be long before it is available on DVD! i am so excited. I like to think the renewed interest is from my bands video 2571(my science fiction lover)!! Ha ha ha

Well guys, I have to say Friday nights airing of Logan's Run was amazing. Remember we have not had the series in the Uk since 1979, so the only versions I have seen were copies from ebay (must have bought about 10 different versions, all promising they were the best, none been particularly great!) so after getting used to seeing over exposed, grainy, washouted versions for the last 5 years, the first thing that hit me was the clarity of film, the colours were amazing and I was finally taken back to my childhood to relive my favourite ever tv show. The pilot has been cut into 2 halves (2nd to be shown next friday).
I am recording each episode onto a separate disc so I can keep them at the highest possible quality, so for anyone who wants copies, it will be a 15 disc set.
The quality looks amazing, infact it actually looks better than V (which airs just before Logan's Run) From what I remember reading somewhere, they used real film for Logan's run (which is why it was so expensive to make) which maybe is why it looks so good.
The only downside is sci.fi's annoying habbit of putting pop ups in the middle of the show to advertise other shows, but I guess beggers can't be choosers!
I really do think a dvd set will be along soon now that it has been dusted off as it were, but for all those who can't wait to see perfect digital versions, I will sort out sets for you all in mid february (when the last one airs).
Until then, I do intend uploading the sci.fi trailers for the show on you.tube, I will let you know when I have done this.
Anyone interested in sets let me know.

I don't understand why they don't air the series on SPACE, which is the Canadian Sci-Fi channel. I think it would be a great idea...In fact I think I'll send them an e-mail.

They play alot of great shows, but also some that are not so good. I think LR the series would be an excellent addition to the line up of great shows. :)

And I don't know why they won't air the series on the SciFi Channel here in the states either, Running Man!!

But like logan99 has said above -- that maybe since they are beginning to air these again - this may be a good sign that the DVDs may soon be in production!!! We can only hope.

Well it is great to have Logan's run back on, Fridays are my new fave night. Unfortunately, Sci.fi have started to butcher our fave show, they have taken the opening credits away (can you imagine?) so the show just starts with the episode title! It is driving me mad and sci.fi won't respond to me!! oh well at least it is on (just!!)

Well sci.fi have put the opening credits back in for the last few episodes but have started to cut the last scene of each episode (you know the one, when Logan, Jessica and Rem get back in the car and do their little summary of the days events!) to be honest I prefered it when they cut the opening titles, at least I only needed that once then could replace it on each episode, but this stuff is gone for good!
Something has just hit me, Francis has not been in the last four episodes, I knew he was not in all of them, but never realised they were all in a row. Anyone know the reason for this, seems really strange to leave a main character out of so many episodes considering this was the first series, you would think they would want to establish him.

All that said, I must say i am loving every minute of it!
