Does anyone know where I might be able to find a tracker prop. or a good picture of one to make a copy of it?
Thanks, Jesse 40

There's one on ebay now as item number 7610028405. Looks like decent workmanship. If you lose the auction, it should be pretty easy to make one. It's just a box, with a plexi top, some screen, switches, and a few other plastic bits. The ebay one runs on a 9v battery, which would power a ton of LEDs plus the sound chip. You can get sound sampling chips just about everywhere, and LEDs are cheap, the price ranging from a few cents to a buck depending upon light output, size, and color.

People people... it was called a "Follower..."

The "Gun" was called a "Gun"...Not a Blaster...

That Follower was a nice one and did not have the wrongly made snap on screen cover used it the film to do a "in camara" trick of a view screen change....

They had slip on covers with differnt slides mounted to do the readouts Logan got from Sandman Central...The real follow was stright.

But it looks like he used my prictures of a real prop, and did not know that that picture had a small mistake, the lens was held on with foam tape, seems everone keeps coping that and making a gap between the lens and the body...

Sorry it was really flat on the body, glued tightly, the tape was not a part of the prop, and not the way it really was, it was s top gap fix.

My work lives on, even wrong work damm it.... :wallbash:

Hi Rich,

I'll take your comments as a complement. I was the one who listed the follower on Ebay and have always been a fan of your work. The top IS flat to the top and not held on by foam tape. I used an epoxy based adhesive.

I spent months trying to find the correct parts to assemble it as the box size is odd and difficult to find. The only real error I made is one of the switches should line up with the center piece but cannot due to an internal mounting buss on the inside of the enclosure.

Getting the top piece clear was also an adventure but finally found a procedure to make it almost perfectly clear.

Yes it was, but it did look like there was a small gap between the lens and the body...

At lease in the pictures.

Making any more?
