Thought it might be an interesting topic to see who are some of your favorite movie/TV robots.

At first, I could only think of a few for me:

C-3PO
R2D2
Box
Robby The Robot
and the 1927 Metroplis robot - Maria (Futura)

but then realized they are literally hundreds more to choose from:

Maximillion (The Black Hole)
Twiki (Buck Rogers)
V.I.N.C.E.N.T and B.O.B (The Black Hole)
GORT (Day the Earth Stood Still)

etc.. etc.. etc...

So, who are your favorites and who am I forgetting?

My all-time personal favorite (not including Box - for obvious reasons) is the robot from the 1927 silent film "Metropolis". She was beautiful, sexy and deadly!!! A real femme-fatale - in metal skin!

Hmmm, there been so many fantastic robots over the years, I'll name just a few of my favorites...first of all my number one, I know I'm not very original here but he's my favorite...no introduction nessissary...



And here's a lesser know bunch of robots that used to scare the hell out of me when I was a little kid, the Absolutley Nasty, absolutley Dastardly, the Absolutley Evil Daleks ...

I had forgotten about the A.I. Teddy Bear. Good one...

... and although R.E.M. really classifies himself as an android, I guess we can include him in our lists. :thumbsup: It's always such a fine line......
