Many apolgies for this--I don't know the movie at all--but someone I work with mentioned something about disposable clothing and Logan's Run? It might be helpful for something I am writing. Are there, in fact, disposable clothes in LR?

I have no idea what they may be referring to as 'disposable clothing'. Although they might be referring to the amount of 'free' love and skin in the City of Domes, there's never any mention of 'disposable clothing' in Logan's Run. :dunno:

Do people at any point burn their clothes? This is what my friend seems to remember...

During the Carrousel sequence, the participants wear these Carrousel outfits during the Carrousel ritual and slowly begin to float above the carrousel. As they go higher, they simply burst into flames (reffered to as 'flameout').

They use disposable clothes which are eventually burned in the film
Millennium. It and Logan's Run were both directed by Michael Anderson.

It sounds to me that you may be thinking of The Andromeda Strain. They wore disposable clothes that they burned when going through decontamination.
