As we all know, spoilers can ruin a movie, book or tv show, etc - so please be careful when posting a message that may contain possible spoilers.
Below is the code to use when posting a possible SPOILER in our threads.
Please use the following code BEFORE the part of your text that contains the actual spoiler:
{b} Spoiler Alert {/b}
{color=#F5F9FD}
This is the part of your post that contains the spoiler you don't want readers to see at first.
{/color}
{b} End of Spoiler {/b}
**** BE SURE TO REPLACE all of the { and } with [ and ]. I can't do it here, otherwise you wouldn't be able to read the above code :P
Then, after your spoiler has been submitted using the above proper code (with noted changes) and you want to read it (or any other spoiler for that matter), CLICK AND HOLD the left mouse button and drag the mouse over the blank area of the post between the Spoiler Alert and End of Spoiler headings. This will cause the invisible text to become highlighted so it can now be read.
Here's an example of the above procedure correctly done with all of the [ ]'s correctly in place to show you how the actual spoiler code should look and work when done properly.
Spoiler Alert
If you can read this, I think you've got it!! Congratulations!! You can now post Spoilers!!
End of Spoiler
To see the above spoiler, left click and HOLD your mouse, then drag it in the blank space between the Spoiler headings above. You should now be able to read the invisible spoiler message.
Hopefully this makes sense.
Any questions on this procedure, please feel free to post them here.
If you're a luddite like me and have a webtv unit, or the mouse clicking thing doesn't work for you, simply click on the "Quote" feature and the Spoiler text will be available to read.
