Oh, no, they'd better not draw a parallel with that one. :( <_< MAAAAAAAAC!!!!! :cry No, no, no, I'm going to think positively. :)

IMO - August 29, 2006 09:41 AM (GMT)
I really think Simba isn't going to appear in Episode 9 and that Sue carrying around a stuffed toy strapped to her front will be the last we see and hear of this particular storyline.

However, I might be completely wrong, in which case I will pretend I never posted the above comment :ph43r:

I also don't think Sue wants Mac dead as then all her fantasising about being with The Lions Mane will have to stop. So I'm swaying more to Statham having something to do with Mac's results.

PigRescuer - August 29, 2006 11:06 AM (GMT)
i agree with you IMO. About simba.

they don't usually bring random stuff like that back.

*tries hard to think of an example*

bingle - August 29, 2006 11:34 AM (GMT)
I've thought of one! I've thought of one!

*jumps up and down excitedly*

Statham's matchstick Jesus - if I'm not mistaken it gets picked up in another much later scene - its still there!

Will go and check now!

*runs off to check*

PigRescuer - August 29, 2006 11:52 AM (GMT)
yes yes it is!

also Sue's plant - the amazing disappearing plant.

wait, what were we talking about again?

*re-reads thread*

erm, i guess the camel?

xjessx - August 29, 2006 03:00 PM (GMT)
ohh would be so cool on my behave if i was right some how...would be sad though, but then again i never cried when i found out he was dieing, i cried when guy says 'i love you dr todd' so romantic

XTinker_Bellx - September 6, 2006 08:52 PM (GMT)
I was actually depressed for the entire weekend after that episode. Mac won't die!

But I've been thinking that the writers have some kind of vendetta against Mac because they've threatened to take him away from us at the end of both series. Series 1 - first moving his to sheffield, then dangling him off the edge of a cliff. Series 2 - Killing him with some mysterious illness, pressumably a brain tumor.

gits

xjessx - September 6, 2006 08:56 PM (GMT)
hehe dont worry i have now banded death and tumours cos i dont like it and what i say goes!!!!

XTinker_Bellx - September 6, 2006 09:02 PM (GMT)
nope, I hate the talk of brain tumors, I hate very bad experiences with such things. :(

I'm thinking that Sue changed his results out of revenge and I think her conversation with Guy about stuffing Caroline to keep her has some significance.

But then thats probably me reading too much into it.

xjessx - September 6, 2006 09:06 PM (GMT)
it anyones guess really!!
i hate any kind of tumours!!
my cat has one, but she is 25 yrs so she lived out all of our other cats but will be saad to see happy go..its the waiting came i cant stand

XTinker_Bellx - September 7, 2006 05:42 PM (GMT)

xjessx - September 7, 2006 05:54 PM (GMT)

:o I thought you meant that what Sue's saying there is you have to have the person you want to be with killed and stuffed before they'll stay with you and I suddenly thought she was thinking of doing that to Mac!!!! That isn't what you meant, is it? I hope Sue didn't think this!!! POOR MAC!!!!!

I completely agree on the subject of death and tumours. I have a terrible, terrible dislike of both. I don't like talking about them because they're so upsetting. :hug :hug :hug :hug

xjessx - September 7, 2006 06:14 PM (GMT)
:hug i did make a rule in for all the flics that no one is to die or have cancer and what can i say Guy got cancer and hit by a car and died before he could say bye to caroLINE!!

I have the rule no one is to die in mine too. I hadn't necessarily thought of the cancer rule but, for me, it goes without saying that I'm not going to write that sort of thing. It's far too much for me, lol. ("Wuss" )

What's d of e practice? Sorry to be an 'eejit'. :blush

I like the idea of going round popping all congratulations balloons we see. I think I'm going to have to start doing that. It was such a sad part. I very, very nearly cried at that and when he rode off right at the end. I said to my boyfriend "I'm going to cry now" and he said "Yeah, you're not really, though, are you?" because he didn't believe that I was that affected by it so I hid it and was strong otherwise he'd have thought I'd lost it.
