Ooo, and i hate the casting of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black :angry: . Nothing against the actors, but thats not how they looked in my mind, that's for sure.

lupin looked very dodgy - he should not have had a moustace!

oh yeah, that casting twas not good. but hagrid and snape have some of teh best casting i've ever seen. and mcgonagall.

plus robbie coltraine, alan rickmac and maggie smith are great actors. :D

Dumbledore isn't really dead and Snape hasn't really gone over to Voldermort ;)

I don't think snape is evil but i do think dumbledore won't be coming back - although his portrait could prove very useful (i think harry should get a portrait of sirius to talk to)

I think Snape's evil. There's no coming back from killing Dumbledore. Besides, like the bearded guy said himself, since he's more intelligent than your average bear, his mistakes are bigger in comparrison to your average numpty.

Dumbeldore's death was all a set up. This way Voldermort thinks Dumbledore is dead and Snape is working for him, and they could both use this situation to their advantage.

Yeah well i think he only killed dumbledore because he (dumbledore) asked him to . u see i dont think dumbledore would plead for his life. i think snape told dumbledore all about the unbreakable vow and they arranged that dumbledore would tell harry all he needed to know this year then snape was more valuable to the order than dumbledore (in dumbledores perspective) so he told him not to break his unbreakable vow if that makes sense. dumbledore also said "death is but the next great adventure" so he wouldnt be scared of dying

I don't think he *was* pleading for his life, Dumbledore was surprised, he'd always believe in Snape. I don't see how you can come back from something like that, and Dumbledore is definitely dead.

ok, my theories - sorry it took me a while, i had a prior commitment. ;)

horcruxes - harry's scar could be a horcrux. that would mean harry has to kill himself to destory voldemort. ironic, no?

also RGB - the guy that stole voldemort's horcrux form the lake. my and my firneds are pretty much agreed on the fatc that that is Regulus Blakc, Sirius's brotehr. right initials, and if Regulus wasn't a very senior death eater, why would voldemort have hunted him down to kill him unless he did something very veyr bad.

I was quite happy with the last book since I was right on who the half-blood prince was, who was going to die, and yeah RAB, I think most people are of the opinion it's Regulus :)

i dont think any part of harry can be a horcrux because he has to kill the bit of voldemorts soul still in his body last and how can he do that if hes dead? i think he would if he had to but it wouldnt work

but i agree about RAB being regulus black. and there was a silver locket in the black house which they couldnt open

my otehr, more likely theory, is that one of the things dumbledore decided were the horcruxes isn't one, cos otehrwise it's a bit too easy. i think the snake isn't.

And on a website somewhere it says that the fact that harry has Lily's eyes is really important.

i thought maybe Hagrid would die to save Harry. like everyone else has (his parents, Sirius, Dumbledore..)

but as i wrote that i realised that the point was the more powerful the wizard, the longer they lasted in prtecting ~Harry, as it says as the end of teh sixth book, and this is a completely pointless rambling post. :D

i was thinking the other day about who snape was in love with (JKR said what made him more vulnerable than voldemort was the fact that he had once been in love with someone and not lily potter) i think it may have been narcissa malfoy (black as was) and hes really close to draco cos hes like the son he never had. it would explain more why he did the unbreakable vow.

have just discovered that narcissa is 3 years older than snape&co so it is possible
