The official website for George Milton's The Truth is online, and there's a downloadable trailer for the movie on that site. Guerilla Films Ltd. released the movie theatrically in the U.K. on January 13th.

The screenplay for The Truth was written by Milton and Mark Tilton. The movie stars William Beck as Scott, Elaine Cassidy as Candy, Stephen Lord as Felix, Elizabeth McGovern as Donna, Lea Mornar as Mia, Rachael Stirling as Martha, Zoe Telford as Blossom, Karl Theobald as Spud, Sean Murray as Candy's father, Amelia Bullmore as Candy's mother, Alasdair Findlay as the minibus driver, David Cann as the male walker, and Sheyla Shehovich as the female walker.

Below is a synopsis for The Truth from the website of international sales agent Moviehouse Entertainment Ltd..

Seven young strangers go on a spiritual journey of personal growth, taking in jealousy, hatred, sexual perversion and a little murder on the way.

Candy, in her early 20s and wheelchair-bound, joins a group of mismatched strangers in an isolated country retreat for a week of new-age therapy that she hopes will change her life.

The course is run by charismatic Californian guru Donna Shuck, whose six-step programme Adventures in Truth teaches that spiritual growth can be achieved through speaking the truth at all times.

Candy is quickly disillusioned. In their quest for deep personal growth, Donna's newfound followers reduce the course to petty back-biting and the emotional torture of a young Croatian refugee, Mia.

Is Donna the warm mother they've all been looking for, or is she a dangerously manipulative charlatan? Candy decides she doesn't want to stick around to find out but, when she tries to leave, she discovers she's a virtual prisoner

Karl Theobald – Spud
‘If you’d met me four years ago, you’d have seen a hostile, insecure, and yeah – I’ll say it – a loser. Donna changed me. And she can change you too.’Originally a stand-up, he took a major role in the C4 comedy series Green Wing, the second series to be broadcast in ’06. He has also taken the lead in Brett Foraker’s C4 short Buying Porn.

I think the first bit is a quote from the character!
