Some news about a final Christmas Special has recently been realised. The episode is not Christmas related. In it Caroline and Guy attent the funeral of one of their former staff members, and there is a wedding in the hospital.

if tis staff then it cant be angela....now i feel sick..becaue why would caroline and guy go to karens, alan's or joannas funeral...surley they would be more up set if it was macs

Note that it says former Staff member. Trust me, it's Angela's funeral. The coffin is far too small to be Macs.

Or Holly :) I know it's been almost confirmed that it's Angela by the British Sitcom site thing, but she was short, never really thought of Angela as short.

But in the behind-the-scenes clip, Guy says that the funeral was a lot sadder than his step-sister's, to appease Caroline. Caroline hated Holly so why would she care if Guy was on his mobile, and why would she be at the funeral at all?

Oh I know :) I'm only going by the size of the coffin, and ignoring all evidence. I do think it'll be Angela, it's just Holly would be a better fit for that tiny coffin I reckon.

Good point, mini-marsbars, but if it were Holly who had died (although I doubt it is), Caroline may have gone because she felt really guilty for hating her, you never know, particularly if Holly died in particularly tragic circumstances or something. Mind you, Caroline never liked Angela either!

Do they actually make coffins to fit? I'm just thinking the height of the person wouldn't make much difference, would it? I would have thought they had one-size coffins for all adults. :unsure: :unsure:

Thats what I thought too Little Simba- that coffins are a standard size, with just child size coffins being smaller (even more morbid, sorry).

I must say though, I dont personally think Caroline wud have gone to Holly's funeral.

Coffins are usually fit to size, as people can vary so much in height.

No, the newsletter said they didn't know who was getting married, to be honest I'm glad, as that's the one thing I don't want spoilt.

There will be definitely be at least one wedding! Who is getting married though we'll have to wait and see. Based on Green Wing in the past we can pretty much guarantee it won't be quite as expected so Dr Mac fans maybe need not feel as distressed as the currently do. After all, we know a couple of the writers and don't think they're that cruel to really stick it to Mac as currently appears to be the case?!? Don't forget they're known for their plot twists!
