First of all, I love Rowan's delivery, and Queenie and Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, love it very muchly.

ahh Blackadder, Love it! Favourite series is the second one, but I love them all. I used to have the lyrics to the theme tune from the first series on my diary. hehe

luvinit! - July 13, 2006 07:49 PM (GMT)
I love those songs! I bought all the scripts and they have all the song lyrics!!! I loved the one where the singer's drunk!!! Do you slightly fancy Flasheart in series 2 and 4?? :blush

poo on a plate - July 13, 2006 07:52 PM (GMT)
WOOF! yes, sadly I do. Also fancy Blackadder in series 2. Oh dear.

kittyofdoom - July 13, 2006 07:57 PM (GMT)
Oh you're not alone POAP, it's the only time Rowan Atkinson is attractive I think :)

poo on a plate - July 13, 2006 08:00 PM (GMT)
Thank god. It is strange, it must be the beard.

luvinit! - July 13, 2006 08:02 PM (GMT)
I think Queenie speaks for all of us when she says about Flasheart "I have SUCH a crush on him!!"
Oh, AND yes I fancy Blackadder in that one too. Yum! Woof!

And is it wrong to fancy Blackadder in Back And Forth in the millennium episode with the moustache/beard?

Did you hear? Sometime this year or next Richard Curtris and Ben Elton are planning to do another Blackadder film set in the Russian Revolution? :excited

poo on a plate - July 13, 2006 08:06 PM (GMT)
I have heard several rumours - how exciting. I can't remember what he looked like in Back and Forth. *slaps wrists*

poo on a plate - July 13, 2006 08:25 PM (GMT)
mmm, it's not the same as series 2 blackadder.

luvinit! - July 13, 2006 08:29 PM (GMT)
Oh, of course. But he looks better there than series 3 and 4, doesn't he?
:)

poo on a plate - July 13, 2006 08:32 PM (GMT)
He does. And much much better than series 1.

luvinit! - July 13, 2006 08:37 PM (GMT)
Series 1, he was rank. <_<

But series 2 and maybe series 4, he was really good looking. Oh, and I thought that in series 4, Hugh Laurie was good as George. "Permission to lip-wibble, sir?"

:roflmao

OK, two questions for you:

1) Fave series 1,2,3, or 4?

2) Fave monarch/commander? King, Queenie, Prince Regent or General "Bahhh!" Melchett?

poo on a plate - July 13, 2006 08:43 PM (GMT)
Fave series 2, but arg can't choose - they're all great in their own way.

luvinit! - July 13, 2006 08:51 PM (GMT)
I know. it's hard. Other way round for me. I can't choose which series I like best, But my fave monarch is Queenie.

Don't you think it's weird that none of the DVD's have special features like outtakes yet This is here?

poo on a plate - July 13, 2006 08:57 PM (GMT)
hehe! Naughty Hugh. Tha is very odd, how do people get hold of these things?

luvinit! - July 13, 2006 08:59 PM (GMT)
I have no idea. But it's nice when you have that, isn't it? But on Blackadder Back and Forth, they do have a few random ones. I wonder why they don't let us see them?

poo on a plate - July 13, 2006 09:04 PM (GMT)
Damn, we will never know. Very odd. Thank the lord for youtube though.

luvinit! - July 13, 2006 09:25 PM (GMT)
Definately!!! B)

*debbie* - July 15, 2006 08:09 AM (GMT)
if there was no youtube i'd be devistated.
but ooooh!
fave series: 2
fave caracter: QUEENIE!

kittyofdoom - July 15, 2006 08:39 AM (GMT)
I quite liked Percy, poor silly, long suffering guy :) Definitely my favourite series is 2, although 2, 3 and 4 are all great (they changed the writers after the 1st series). My favourite character, well, it has to be Blackadder, someone I can relate to :)

*debbie* - July 15, 2006 08:57 AM (GMT)
i feel more sorry for baldric!

Little_Simba - September 11, 2006 09:35 PM (GMT)
Woooooooow, Blackadder is quite possibly my favourite programme of all time.

Right, OK.
Fave series: 4 (but closely folowed by 3)
Fave monarch/commander: Prince Regent

:o :o They're going to do more Blackadder THIS YEAR OR NEXT?!!!! I know Richard Curtis said years ago that they'd do more in 2010 (and no one will ever let him forget he said that :P ) but I wasn't expecting anything sooner. I hope it's true but I'm sceptical. :(

What about favourite Blackadder character ever?... I think mine's the Prince Regent. :D

newestgreenwingfan01 - September 12, 2006 04:10 PM (GMT)
:D love this show!!!!!!

QUOTE
Blackadder: Youre okay Prince, its only Baldrick
Prince George: Hurrah!
Blackadder: Until seven o clock tonight
Prince George: Hurroo

fave scene ever in series three!

luvinit! - September 12, 2006 10:20 PM (GMT)
I think so! For me, there is nothing else after that was as funny.

Little_Simba - September 13, 2006 01:05 AM (GMT)
There are so many classic lines!

BLACKADDER: "I'm afraid the duel is off."
PRINCE GEORGE: "Off?"
BLACKADDER: "As in sod."

luvinit! - September 13, 2006 07:27 PM (GMT)
:roflmao

I love the way Blackadder says "Bob"

:heart He is one sexy man! As is Flasheart :knockout

Flasheart: Always treat your kite like you treat your woman!
George: What, take her home to meet your Mother?
Flasheart: No, get inside her five times a day and take her to Heaven and back!

:roflmao

kittyofdoom - September 14, 2006 09:32 AM (GMT)
Blackadder: We live in an age where illness and deformity are commonplace, and yet, Ploppy, you are, without a doubt, the most repulsive individual I have ever met. I would shake your hand, but I fear it would come off.

Blackadder: 'Yes, it is', not 'That it be'. You don't have to talk in that stupid voice to me. I'm not a tourist.

Blackadder: A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

A couple of my faves, but I could quote Blackadder all day :) I won't though ;)

kittyofdoom - October 2, 2006 08:11 PM (GMT)
Blackadder: They do say, Mrs M, that verbal insults hurt more than physical pain. They are, of course, wrong, as you will soon discover when I stick this toasting fork into your head.
