I think they're so funny. But I think that's just my wierd sense of humour

suewhitesgirl - October 23, 2004 05:42 PM (GMT)
They really irritate me!

Spook - October 23, 2004 05:48 PM (GMT)
Ditto!

Cass - October 23, 2004 07:52 PM (GMT)
I like them. Because it means Green Wing's on, heeeee.

crackwhore - October 24, 2004 05:29 PM (GMT)
The only upside of the series ending is that I won't have to see those bloody annoying mini ads any more!

Thankfully I have a hard drive recorder so the first thing I do when GW has finished is go through the recording and edit them out.

If I had a video recorder I'd have fire bombed BMW HQ by now! :ph43r:

i love them! man, cracks me up just thinking about it.

IMO - October 24, 2004 08:53 PM (GMT)
Oh look it's my first post on here B)

They're annoying. Mildly amusing the first few times, but they should be :ph43r: Just hope the second series has a new sponser :D

been_already - October 25, 2004 11:28 PM (GMT)
Personally, I hope the car crashes and the anoying Chinese guy with the indian headdress dies horribly.

Or at least loses the ability to speak (and tell those terrible jokes)

Here endeth the lesson. :shutit

and just for the sheer randomness...
:eehee :runaway :badger

:angel

Last Girl - October 26, 2004 11:16 PM (GMT)
oh i think it just goes with green wing - although i can't say i've ever laughed at any of his non-jokes. but i shall miss them
sorry but i just have to add to the randomnessssss..
:bananawhip :faintz

Zoecb - October 29, 2004 04:03 PM (GMT)
I like half the jokes. None of them are exactly laugh out loud, but some may trigger a semi-smile.

Like:

What's 12 inches long and buzzes?

A very long bee.

rogue_midichlorian - November 1, 2004 10:52 AM (GMT)
Gah! I had to leave the room whenever they were on!

been_already - November 1, 2004 07:23 PM (GMT)
"A man walks into a bar and says "OUch that hurt"" :bangh

OK I take back what I said before.

The DS ads with the hands in rubber gloves are mind blowingly down right numbingly boredom on a stick with no dip for light relief

^ I realise the above makes no grammatical sense at all *shrugs*

I agree, although when im fast forwarding thru the adverts it helps me know when to press play! PLUS whats with the healing touch? The random sticker on random objects? they have done cheese, they have done as kangaroo toy! WTF?

Mac-aroon - April 18, 2006 01:44 PM (GMT)
I HATE with a passion those Nintendo adverts they irritate me SOOOO much
But its been so long since the first series of GW was on T.V i cannot remember those joke adverts....from what i've read thts not a bad thing :D

kittyofdoom - April 18, 2006 04:14 PM (GMT)
No, I think the mini ones were worse, with that Native American chief guy hanging out of a mini, telling awful jokes *shudders*

Still, sponsor adverts are never that good, especially in a show like Green Wing, with three breaks. Oh well, I don't mind the Nintendo DS ones at the moment, but I'm sure that'll change by the end of the series :)

True. Also useful when actually recording the show as you can stop/start and miss out the ads all together :D

snoopybing - April 18, 2006 09:06 PM (GMT)
I really liked the mini adverts!

They were certainly better than the Nintendo ones we have now. They have no point to them whatsoever.

Well, except to indicate when to stop fast-forward.

pathologybunny - April 18, 2006 10:49 PM (GMT)
The series two ones are bliddy annoying though!!! :sob

GirlCalledMalice - May 1, 2006 09:20 PM (GMT)
My best friend and I have a tendancy of being at the same place (ie. one of our homes) whenever GW is on, and she has the most annoying habit of going 'Aaaaaaah....' everytime the advert does. It makes me want to hurt her quite alot. But I don't.

*Ahem.*

kittyofdoom - May 3, 2006 07:13 AM (GMT)
I reckon the "It's in pain, it's in pain, it's in pain, it's in pain" bit sounds like Mark Heap, aka. Alan Statham. Only that bit, not the "Watch out". Or maybe I'm just mad.

azuresoul - May 3, 2006 09:48 PM (GMT)
those adverts really annoy me!!! but its great to hear them sometimes cos it means the adverts are over...

my sister does the "woooah yeah!" bit as well... i poke her very hard lol.

Mighty Aphrodite - May 4, 2006 05:32 PM (GMT)
I generally hate sponsorship on TV programmes - annoys the hell out of me.... but I love the Trauma Centre ones.... maybe because it means I'm watching Green Wing....

azuresoul - May 4, 2006 05:45 PM (GMT)
lol yeah they always seem to be reeally annoying... sometimes at first they can be funny, but then they just get boring, cos they never change them at all...

PigRescuer - May 29, 2006 09:32 PM (GMT)
