I'm deperately trying to remember a quote from the housewarming party, they were wondering why there were a group of goths there and Mac (I think) said something about them pretending that being ugly was an act. (I have nothing against goths, I don't agree with his sentiment, don't hate me!) but the way he said it made me laugh. Can anyone remember it?

Ok, I've resisted the temptation to post about this quote since I joined, but I can do it no longer!

As a goth I hated this quote it's totally untrue, I mean really if you find pale skinned, raven haired women in tight corsets and flowing skirts ugly fine, but seriously who finds that ugly? ;)

I just hope that wasn't one of the lines JRT thought of himself, obviously I would forgive him, but still!

It is indeed a very high maintainance look, I went to a goth festival a few weeks back and it would generally take me a good 2 hours to get ready (that's just on hair and make-up!), but that's what you get for wanting to backcomb your hair everyday!

Everyone I know classes me as a goth. I wear mostly black, listen to rock music, I'm equally blessed and cursed with porcelain skin and dark hair. I love goth stuff, but I'm more of a hair-metaller - don't laugh!!! :P
I found the statement absolutley hilarious but then again I've got used to being the object of mickey-taking, it's no big esp coming from MAC!!!!!!!!!!!
Also I know a few 'goths' (not 'real' ones trust me!) and Mac's comment struck home for a those particular ones so I found it incredibly funny! :)
