How much would you pay to buy one of the characters? If they actually existed of course, what would you spend for one or two nights with them?

I'd pay out pretty much every penny I have (which isn't much! ;) ) for a night with Guy...much more if we were closer in age than I would as we currently are though. If I was his age, I'd happily shell out a thousand squids. Or maybe less...Or maybe more...

Okay... going on the characters here, not the actors!!

An entire 24 hours spent in the company of both Mac and Guy. There would be dinner. In a private room of a restaurant. With candles. I can't at this stage gaurantee there would be live violin music, but that's the gamble you would have to take.
There would be a limo. With diplomatic immunity for the whole 24 hours. (And a fully stocked bar for those of us over 18!). There would be a penthouse suite at one of london's top hotels made available for the entire time. No guarantees as to what would happen there (because, let's face it, everyone's idea of a good time is different - it might, for instance, involve a game of scrabble over a mug of cocoa delivered by room service! :angel Or then again, it might not! ;) ).
There would be the option to invite along another character. Would it be a character of your own choosing...? Yes, you could choose the extra character to join you.

'The price?' I hear you ask!

One week providing holiday cover in the path lab at East Hampton.
