Seeing as Mac is just amazingly gorgeous and deserves his own fanclub

Yes I cried - but have almost got it under control now having watched it a few times since. It's just when the balloons pop up out the box, and again when he lets go of the balloon at the end.

I am 99.9% certain that Mac isn't going to die and it's all some horrid mistake/coma induced dream (whatever). The other 0.1% of doubt creeps into my mind when my defences are down and I'm trying to get to sleep at night.

But the writers want us to think he's died, especially if Episode 9 starts with this funeral - so then Mac can suddenly appear alive and well when we've all started weeping into our tissues - and lo and behold another Green Wing twist will have occurred.

btw I'm meant to be watching Lost now but I'm so obsessed with GW I'm still on here :lol:

I'm afraid I think they will kill him off, although the funeral ploy would be a good way to start the episode. Green Wing writers don't do the whole "it was all a mistake, yay! Everyone lives happily ever after!" predictable plot-line thing, and it would also mean that we couldn't beg them to do a 3rd series. I do think that Mac and Caro will get together, right at the end, but I fear Mac was right when he predicted "game over" - he's a good doctor - he'd know! :(

Well, I'm of the opinion that the writers aren't usually *too* serious with plots, so really anything could happen.

But, one thing they might want to consider in killing Mac, the swarm of fans that will cause various damage to them if they do.

of course they do the 'it was all fake, wasn't real etc etc' i mean look at holly and mackenzie! everyone was like 'oh no......whats happened here then' and then the GW writers just randomly went, hair dye!! so......there's an example that they do do that! mac dying is too obvious...

Yeah, I don' think they will kill him now. I've consoled myself on that one :)

They seriously cant be THAT mean
I will literally cry and attack their office and hunt them down and staple things to them if they kill off my beloved Mac
