I'm not convinced its either Guy and Car or Mac and Car because both havent actually been out, and sure xmas is 7months away but thats still a big commitment very quickly and sure its a program GW at that meaning anything would ne done but im not sure Caroline would agree to actually getting married so soon. maybe to Mac, but not Guy. and if it is to Mac then she'd ahve to split up with Guy prety darn soon...

karen's currently missing in action, presumed dead......i mean she fell from quite a height but who knows, she could just be holding onto a ledge on the side of the hospital and no one has noticed yet.

the wedding will probs be Alan and Joanna's (for once I'm not trying to big up my ship, and put carguy down, but i think that wedding would be too obvious at this point, ESPECIALLY since they're engaged and all). I think the funeral will take place beginning of the ep, hence carguy together, but I have absolutely no idea who it could be!!

yeh, as much as i want carmac to last forever etc etc, i just don't think the writers would do that, whether there was going to be another series or not! they'd probably stop it with caroline leaving guy for mac but then mac dying and guy not taking her back or something! something that isn't particularly predictable, and that we would HATE! (mac dying, not the inevitablility of CARMAC!)

I'm really wishing the wedding won't be Caroline n Guy and I REALLY REALLY REALLY want it to be Mac n Caro coz they go so well together and I think the only reason they're not together is the fact that MAC WON'T TELL CAROLINE HE LOVES HER. It's obvious to everyone around but he just seems to have trouble saying those 3 little words, I think she'd then realise what she's missing and get back with him. That's all she wants to hear - worked with Guy, he even wrote it on the shower and that worked so Mac shud take a leaf out of Guy's book (if that's possible lol)

Hey i was just reading over the interviews on the c4 website and i noticed something interesting in steve's when he was talking about filming the final scene with tamsin, it said, "But when suddenly Tamsin’s real husband turns up and gives her a lingering kiss on the platform, Stephen turns and quips: "That’s her real husband, I’m in trouble now!" "

real husband? as if steve was her fake husband which implies they do get married but we'll just have to wait and see!

I would like to point out, btw, that the British Sitcom Guide that we got this wedding idea from said "at least one" wedding........... Ooh!! I wonder how many there will be!

I don't like to be a pessimist but I do doubt Caroline and Guy will get married in episode 9 - unless it's a dream or, maybe, unless she marries Guy but then runs off with Mac or someonee else after the wedding. I just can't see their finishing episode 9 with the same people together as were together at the end of episode 8.

The idea that someone said earlier on in the thread of Karen's holding on to a ledge but not getting noticed would be funny (but sad) and I could imagine that too.

I thought that too IMO, but I think they mean about him reffering to to her real husband, making him her fake husband meaning they get married! I dont think that is evidence at all..... and I shall explain why....

If it was said when they were filming the end of episode 8 then it would have been just after Caroline had accepted Guy's proposal, making him her future husband! Stephen was making a quippy comment, so saying 'here comes her husband and im kissing her as her future fake husband, now im in trouble' wouldnt have sounded as funny!

I think by 'real husband' he is refering to himself as 'fake future husband' rather than fake 'actual husband'! Just because at the end of episode 8 he is her future husband doesnt mean they will actually get married.

i get what your saying and im sure that guy and carolines relationship wont go smoothly but i still think they could end up together. she might go back to mac then change her mind again. i think irrespective of guy, caroline shouldnt marry mac or at least not for a very long time. he hasnt even told her he loves her except once out of context and he hasnt fought for her, in fact her very easily gave her up when holly came back. does anyone agree with me?
