AND mac's life is endangered again. But there may be hope! If they continut this repitition, then mac may recover again and start it off with caormac AGAIN.

I reckon the xmas episode will just to be to tie up the lose ends. like Martin Joanna and Alan, and then Mac's probable death and the happily ever ending for guy and Caroline.

Oh ye of little faith, Caroline and Mac'll end up together in the end, and how silly you will all feel for converting :D hehe.

I think they should put an extra episode 9 on the series 2 DVD. And have a purely funny christmas episode to round it off.

I would like to see a lot more comedy/lighthearted moments in episode 9 as episode 8 was a bit heavy.

but i think that part of the reason that caroline is now with guy is because mac seems to have let her down so many times, which does leave an option open for a mac/caro thing in ep9, as mac may no longer let her down....

Not at all :) it's your opinion after all. Whilst I myself am a stark supporter of Carmac, I appreciate that other people prefer Caroline and Guy (Carguy, if you will, hehe), it's just the chopping and changing that's a little hard to keep up with. I get confused as to who ships who. Sometimes it's nice to know so you can see where someone's coming from in a post.

This is too long by far, I apologise, I had a simple point to begin with, hope it wasn't lost.

lol yeah ive kinda been a fan of the whole "carguy" (lol) thing for quite some time now maybe since the beginning of this series, cos before that there wasnt really another option lol

but part of me doesnt mind, as long as everyone is happy in the end...

btw ive had another thought - you know that funeral clip that they showed? what if that was a goof one - you know they made several endings for the simpsons with the "who shot mr burns" thing - well what if they shot an additional one for ep9, without mac in it, with guy saying being at this funeral was more important, in order to make everyone think that mac had died?

The whole way through GW we've had Mac and Caroline looking like they're finally getting to kiss/get together, etc. etc. only for someone or something to get in the way at the last minute, leaving us tearing our hair out.

eg. Holly and Guy stopping the kisses from happening, Holly turning up with Mac and child at Mac's flat, Sue and her fake pregnancy...............

So it makes sense for the writers to carry on in that vein til the very last episode (Christmas) to keep us hanging on. Just cause Caroline and Guy have walked off into the steam doesn't mean it won't all change in Episode 9 - cause that's what these writers do to us.

Also in Series One we had Mac realising he had feelings for Caroline in Episode 5 but making way as he knew Guy had already expressed an interest in her, and then again with Martin and the whole slave auction in Episode 8, til finally they got together in the very last Episode 9.

There have been so many pararells running between the two series, that I live in hope :)

ye i think that is what will happen most probably, as the whole caromac thing is the sort of central theme to GW, so that is the one that is most likely to be jeopardised throughout the series in every way possible, and then resolved.

but G&C would be sooo sweet!
