There is a train of thought,on the channel 4 forum, that the bad thing to come between our mac and aro is that caroline is pregnant. From her "alleged" one night with guy. That would certainly throw a guy shaped spanner in the morks dont you think? :angry:

i'm still convinced they didn't sleep together, because caroline keeps going on about how she hasn't had any for ages, she didn't wake up with guy, and i don't think she'd bother going out and then coming back in when he was awake just to say nothing happened. if she'd woken up beside him she would have woken him up and said it. also, she wouldn't be sooo keen on mac still, she'd be racked with guilt i reckon, and i think guy would have mentioned it more (ie how about a repeat of our amazing night last week - rampant sex yadadadada).
and also, with the sue white theory about marriage, yeh so she married him whilst he was in a coma, but there is no way that the law will allow this and even sue can't go against a ruling (she'd probably get a restraining order if anyone found out) and.......she can't say that we got married before the accident because they would have needed a witness and obviously there isn't one, plus i think that everyone would have known if they had got married - and he wouldn't have got together with caroline just before being sent round to guy's to save him from his drunkedness.


however, i could be terribly wrong, and will end up horribly miserable on friday when i find out that this is actually the case!! haha.
and about the baby thing with sue - there is no way this storyline will properly come between mac and caro because the way she went about it is hands down illegal........however, she could spin it to her favour but i'm pretty sure she won't have a leg to stand on because its clear mac would never sleep with her. He's not the kind to get paralytically drunk and also, he's NEVER, EVER liked her in that way.

i think that the thing coming between Carmac will ultimately be GUY! which is sheeer pisspoo because i do not want him to shit up their relationship!!!

This IS green wing though - the small matter of the groom being in a coma is probably by-the-by! If the writers want Sue to be married to Mac, then she will be! She certainly thinks she is, if you remember her comment to Caroline, about stealing her husband!

i don't think even the green wing writers could make that storyline work! because its just not possible in any way, sure they can make sue say she's his wife for all she's worth, but they can't actually say that the marriage was legal and that they are married - it just wouldn'twork.

but even if she plays a tape of Mac saying 'i do', all Mac has to do is ask to see the marriage license,which she can't have because you need a registrar.

the marriage can't be legal unless there was a witness present, obviously a vicar or anyone officially allowed to perform a marriage service, they would all have seen that mac was in fact unconcious and so, even though they may have performed the marriage they would HAVE to testify in court that the marriage is null and void! thats all i'm saying.
i'm thinking about sue white's pregnancy, i don't know whether she actually is. artificial insemination rarely works the first time, and she's been going on about it and reading pregnancy books and then faking the symptoms she's read. However, as she hasn't mention it in some time it could be true. I don't know how time goes in green wing, since the beginning of season 2 it could have been 8 days or 8 weeks, if its the latter then surely she'd have a bump by now, which she clearly doesn't. this is all my speculation and obvious denial though!!

Yup. You need two witnessess, witnessing the happy couple signatures. I still think she's hit early menopause and hasn't realised it yet *does evil laugh*.

I maintain the opinion that Guy and Caroline didn't have sex that night, so no pregnancy, but who can say for the future, if things don't change, and Caroline stays with Guy. Personally I want Mac to get Caroline, and I've overdosed on theories, so I've no idea what will happen.
