Title: Red Dwarf...
Description: ...anyone?

sarahjuice - October 19, 2004 07:58 PM (GMT)
Has to be one of my favourite shows ever. A unique concept which could quite easily have fallen on it's arse and became a cult classic.

One of my favourite moments is when Lister (the last human alive) and Rimmer (a hologram simlation of his dead bunkmate) are discussing when Lister lost his virginity at 12 years old on Bootle Municipal Golf Course:

Rimmer:"12 years old?! You lost your virginity when you were 12 years old?! 12!...You can't have been a full member of the golf club then?!"

Fabulous :D

o.O I love Red Drawf, well when ever I'm able to catch it. Stupid BBC putting it on so late!

CraigJamieson88 - October 28, 2004 07:56 AM (GMT)
hahahaha I love red dwarf too...

"I hope you raked the sand back when you'd finished......I hate people abusing the facilities! That would've been a tough lie, wouldn't it. Middle of the twelth and a lie just inside listers buttocks"

Or something like that. I've got that ep on dvd.

That is far and away one of my favourite episodes! It's also the first one I ever saw, yes I was a late starter but caught up quite quickly :)

I  Red Dwarf.

I love the one where Rimmer goes off to be Ace and Kryten makes the Rimmer Experience.

Thought it all went a bit shit in series eight, except the very last line "Not today matey, remember, only the good die young."

Red Dwarf is the best thing EVER :roflmao

"What?! Yes, mum, I'm just packing my satchel!"

CraigJamieson88 - November 2, 2004 03:26 PM (GMT)
Cat's one of the best on there though

"mmmmm......What smells so good? oh yeah, it's me!"

hahahahaha :D

The whole family adores Red dwarf and anything with Chris Barrie in. Getting special edition of series 5 for my daughter for Xmas (it has the starbug!)

Zoecb - January 1, 2005 01:43 PM (GMT)

Lol I go past this big shop on the way to school with "smeg" printed on the side in large writing. Makes me snigger every time.

I envy you with a passion

Hehehe I want one!!

LittleMissMercy - May 30, 2005 01:07 PM (GMT)
I loved Red Dwarf up to about series 7 then it seemed to become more about the special effects than the writing, although wasn't this also when one of the writers left?

I have actually been considering going to the convention, but it's soooo expensive, but then you do get to party with various cast members! :notworthy

CraigJamieson88 - May 31, 2005 06:27 PM (GMT)
Cool, although id feel a bit like a trekkie going to a convention...

Ah, yeah, while Im posting, wasnt there supposed to be a movie out?

Craig

LittleMissMercy - May 31, 2005 07:07 PM (GMT)
I've heard rumours about that, in fact think one of my friend's family members might have something to do with special effects (though that might be a dream I had!)

CraigJamieson88 - June 1, 2005 07:17 AM (GMT)
lol! yup, if only dreams were true...

mmmm..... Free money and such like...

where_the_wild_things_are - June 2, 2005 04:44 AM (GMT)
There should be a Green Wing convention....with all the cast members.....and us :notworthy :heart

I dream about alot of stuff that i confuse with reality <_< i go all sad and mournful when i realise that no, i cannot actually fly :D

CraigJamieson88 - June 2, 2005 07:03 AM (GMT)
Alas, but who knows, one day...

 hehehe

LittleMissMercy - June 2, 2005 02:10 PM (GMT)
A Green Wing convention would totally rock, I'd go anywhere for that! Maybe after a another series it could happen!

where_the_wild_things_are - June 3, 2005 05:29 AM (GMT)
what a wonderful world that would be, green wing conventions, flying....ahhh a dream world!!! :cloud

CraigJamieson88 - July 5, 2005 07:57 PM (GMT)

where_the_wild_things_are - July 21, 2005 03:15 AM (GMT)
yes yes and 3 times yesssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yeeay

cheddargorge - September 17, 2005 01:44 PM (GMT)
Hehehe. Free money. Hmm.....

kittyofdoom - April 18, 2006 03:34 PM (GMT)
I love series 1-6 of Red Dwarf, but I think the four year gap between series six and seven shows, the writing is not so good after 6. Then I think we were spoiled with the first six series, so it went from being great to okay, still not as bad as some rubbish they keep putting out on television, series after series. I shall say no more B)

Holly - April 18, 2006 09:06 PM (GMT)
AH red dwarf...pure class, love it! Can't beat a bitta of lister

pathologybunny - April 18, 2006 10:40 PM (GMT)
