Someone who I know off a totally unrelated forum MSN'd me yesterday and told me his mates uncle is Julian Rhind-Tutt! :thumbsup

Apparently his mate is bombarded for autographs, I have asked for one but I doubt I'll get it - but if I do, I'll scan it in! :thumbsup Anyway apparently he says Julians a really nice bloke and his girlfriend is really nice too (damn!)

I was over the moon when he told me, I was like "No way!"

Which made me think.... Can anyone get closer to a cast member than 4 degrees of seperation (as in me-him-his mate-Julian)?

I've met Doon Mackichan, who is apparently in an upcoming episode. She was very nice & signed a photo for me that says Get Well Soon because I was ill. So by three degrees of seperation, I know the entire cast. Sort of haha. & if she's not in it like rumoured, then she at the very least has worked with Sarah Alexander on Smack The Pony.

I can only get to four, in two different ways:

1) My friend's friend's cousin is Julian apparently.

2) Alternatively, another mate's parents are friends with Tamsin and her husband - they had a Christmas card from them, complete with family photo, sitting on their piano this Christmas, when I was there for new year's eve. Not surprisingly, I got rather over-excited, lol!

Only four I'm afraid, my friend met Simon Pegg, who worked with JRT, Sally Phillips (Holly) and Darren Boyd (Jake) in Hippies.

oooh i can get three. last week my friend went to the theatre and met Tamsin cos she was the main character in Much Ado About Nothing - I GOT THREE!!! amazing.....

1) my mum's friend was briefly in black books. you know the one where fran gets a job but doesn't know what to do and there are gangstas involved (think its series 2). he comes into the shop and is threatened by dylan moran and gets toast in his face. sooo anyway he's obviously met tamsin greig B)

2) my friend's friend saw tamsin greig on the high street near sainsbury's a while ago. k, so that one's not very good, but still...

*sighs* best i can do is a boy in the year below me ... who I talk to occasionally was an extra in one of the films JRT was in ... he's also in the first episode of that new ITV show that suppose to be rivalling Doctor. Who erm .. Primeval I think. okay that was off topic but ah well ..... but i suppose he may have met him ;)

My family is friends with the comedian Ben Norris, who recently worked with Julian doing voiceovers for a radio ad. Also, his cousin is Martin Freeman, which links me to anyone in Green Wing or Black Books.

I have two, both a bit crap.

I work at Waitose (as you probably all know as I don't shut up about it), and my friend there served Tamsin at the very shop I work at. I was angry because I didn't work there then, though I have no ide why Tamsin was shopping where I live! I don't know how many links that is though...3?

Also, I think I have seen Stephen when I was a young child. But that's all a bit odd, and mentioned in the Adrian Mole thread! Again, filmed near where I live...
