yay there is still hope! ive been trying to find all sorts of explanations other than mac being the father etc for ages!

I still think Mac is his father but they'll just decide to raise him seperately.... I think the whole "Mac not really the father" thing is too difficult a concept, I doubt the writers would introduce something as big as that as then take it away.....

as much as i want to believe that mackenzie won't be mac's son, and holly will bugger off to some far and distant land, i really think the writers are going to screw with us on this one. They'll being with something like.....I don't know the concept that Mac may not be the father, they'll do a paternity test cos Holly's husband will show up, Mac and Caroline will start talking about their relationship and then the results come back and prove mackenzie is actually mac's kid!
I'm a die hard Mac + Caroline shipper, but I just don't see why the writers would do that, when they've obviously enjoyed taunting us with the idea before.

however, i will watch friday's episode with full hope of Mac and Caroline getting together!!

Well it sounds like the lines of communication between Mac and Caroline are opened up again this week, hopefully due to something Holly does - she's had it her way too long now, i.e.

1. stopping Mac and Caroline from kissing on the bench :sob

2. getting Mac to give her a lift home/meal included? :angry:

3. mushing up Caroline's hair :angry:

4. kissing Caroline :angry:

5. making comments like "he's lucky to have had you as a friend" :angry:

6. ruining Caroline's seduction back at Mac's by suddenly producing the spawn :o

7. deleting Caroline's phone message :swearing

The thing about GW is you can't apply logic to theories as to what will happen, as the show is very random and crazy things happen, pretty much anything's possible. That's what makes so many of the theories here plausible :)

I want Mac and Caroline to get together by the end, but I'm still hoping they'll do another series, give into fan pressure, and their actual want to do another one. I can hope.

Yeah, I actually changed my tune from wanting Caroline and Mac to get together to wanting Caroline and Guy to get together.

Caroline's turned out to be a bit of a Godess, what with 3 blokes wanting her! I think she's a fantastic character.

When Guy said "don't leave, I love you" I didn't know how to take at first. But now I'm thinking he was being sincere and that he really has fallen for Caroline and that he'll no longer think that 'long-term' is anything to do with an airport carpark! B) :heart

Does nobody else think that Mac's "Family surprise" will have something to do with "Simba"? They can't have set up the whole "Sue marries Mac and artificially impregnates herself while he's in a coma" storyline then not have anything come of it surely? I can't see how this will be helpful for Car-Mac though...any ideas?

How long will it be til we have clips from Epi 7 do you think? My sister is a green wing fan, but is always out on Fridays, and we forgot to tape it this week, so I'm gonna have to fill her in on the plot using the clips. Also, I wanna see Guy's confession of love, Jake's topmiler, Caro/Mac "lost or misplaced" moment and guy trying to get with caro at the restaurant again!

They usually come up within a couple of days, usually by Monday/Tuesday, the same is true of the screencaps, though these don't always take as long. If you have Sky, you can see episode 7 again on More4 at 9:00pm. Hope that's a bit helpful, if not, ignore it :)
