There has been some confusion on the whole Holly business - in Series 1 Angela confessed Holly was getting married and had had a child with this other guy and people were wondering why Angela didnt know about Mackenzie being the child Holly was supposed to have aborted, but never did... here is my theory...

Obviously in Series 2 we know that Holly & Mac have been split for "about 4 years" - we dont know how long its been since that particular episode with Angela talking about it and Mackenzie showing up... timelines seem a bit freaky in the world of Green Wing...

But it could quite easily be that Holly left Mac whilst pregnant with Mackenzie as she had met John James Wyard (or was having an affair with him and therefore wasnt sure who the father was) - she gives birth to him under the pretence that Mackenzie is the child with John and this is the child/pregnancy that Angela refers to...

Obviously as little Mackenzie grows up, the similarity to Mac is uncanny, so John dumps her/she leaves John and comes back to find Mac and obviously with Angela becoming an actress, takes the job at East Hampton to be near him...

I reckon this is the reason there is no other child (unless he/she is in the States with John James Wyard, but that doesnt explain how Angela didnt know about Mackenzie, there must only be one child)

What do you guys think?

Looking at the size of Mack (although he is obviously being played by a 5/6 year old) I agree that Holly must have been pregnant when still with Mac, lied about the termination and then for whatever reason split from him.

However, I do think Holly might be clinically insane - I mean kissing your Ex's girlfriend on the lips :o

Good thinking though about her not knowing who the father is, til little Mack popped out. But then to call your child Mackenzie which can be shortened to Mac :unsure:

for added evilness maybe we should make her see mac and caroline together, with mackenzie playing happy families while she's slowly dying....kind of like a Clockwork Orange sort of thing?! Makes sense....she deserves to see them happy when she made them miserable! and all of us!

She's called Holly Hawkes? Wow, you're a bigger fan than me IMO, I know nothing, but then I've stopped myself reading those two episode 8 spoilers, it might've come up in those.

I also like Sally Phillips normally, she's always been really great in everything i've seen her in. She's great as Holly too I think, I mean she does the job spectacularly :) we all hate the character, job done there.

I don't know if I'm a bigger fan, I just read the cast list in the Radio Times ;)

Really, I just want something to be found out, like Mackenzie isn't really Mac's son, and she gets a huge verbal bashing. I think that'd be quite fun to watch.

If I'm honest, I really want her to be humiliated by everyone, and forced to leave because nobody likes her. They can say lots of insulting but funny things to her, she's just not getting it at the moment. I especially hated her whole 'kissy kissy' thing.
