i mean the facts are: 1) during that episode guy and caroline had a lot of scenes together and eventually moved in (if holly hadnt said she and mac was plannin to hav a bite to eat, caroline probably wouldnt hav said me and guy will just hav a snack back at home - deliberately ensuring that guys gonna move in)!!!

2) in the next episode guy was much nicer to caroline - i mean when caroline stalked off after guy, martin and boyce talked bout sleepin wit martins prostitute, guy immediately changed his mind about sleepin wit the prostitute and followed her!

3) except for their first scene he wasnt rele showing off and being all sarcastic and rude to her!

4) caroline was gonna spend the night at macs but holly once again ruined that cos she came in with little mackenzie and caroline felt she had to go so mac and holly cud talk, forcing her to return home

5) guy asked for a kiss at the end of the episode (note:asked instead of just taking advantage when caroline was drunk) and then caroline kissed him again!!! which is leading to a whats gonna happen between those two next week cliffhanger!!!

I know its taken me three whole days to twig dis but im almost certain guy and caroline are gonna go out somehow!!! sorry to the caroline/mac devotees!!!

I can't wait til Friday!!!!

I mean, I actually adore Guy more & more each day, but Caromac is just so meant to be!! Isn't it?

My brain hurts, trying to work out exactly who I want her to be with! Wouldn't it be a turn up for the books if she got with neither, and just left the hospital at the end of the series?! Obviously there would be murder on my part if some resolution with Guy/Mac wasn't achieved. The resolution being that she gets with one of them. Preferably Mac. I mean Guy. Or Mac possibly.

I just think her & Mac are meant to be.... Guy is so madly in love with her but I just don't believe it'll ever happen, because she loves Mac.

Obviously snogging (plus whatever else they did together!) Guy will have a profound effect on her relationship with Mac, that we will find out tomorrow I guess, but she must end up with Mac, she loves him, he loves her. I dont doubt she likes Guy very much, but it was just a rebound thing which I think she'll regret, but it'll make Guy probably love her all the more....

its just, i agree with newestgreenwingfan01's first post, cos the thing is that normally, guy would try and chat up some girl, and if she said no to him, he would make some nasty comment about her, like that time he said that girl was ugly deep inside (or something!)
he said he had slept with caroline in ep2, probably cos of an ego thing. but i think that whole thing was left open, and they have brought back in the idea of a whole guy and caroline thing in the second series, as it was a plausible option.

i really hope it happens, cos i dont think that guy will ever find anyone else who will tie him down...

and i think caroline kinda likes him... cos in that bit where she told mac to go and do that whole fathery thing, she said that alternatively, she could always go with guy, and that she could only "probably" do better than him... its like she was testing him out to see what he would think if she actually did go out with him...

the more i think about it, the more im sort of sure (lol thats a bit of a contradiction!) that i want guy and caroline to happen....

mac is always capable of finding someone else - we know he can be in serious relationships - but i think this is guy's only chance of a relationship with the "c" word lol.

I don't know why, but I'm still not buying it, not completely. I'll agree that first kiss was swoonworthy, but I don't know what's made such a lot of you change your minds.

I haven't changed my mind ;) Guy is so full of his conquests, etc. and Caroline is the one who's got away from him before, and is now getting away from him again even though Mac is temporarily out of the equation.

His ego must be very dented after "the poker kiss" where he gave it his all, but she still went and dated spagetti man the following evening :lol:

I think Guy's actions over the past few episodes have been more bunny-boilerish than cute, personally.

yeah i mean he was funny when he was just tryin to kiss her but now hes too mad about her and hes not as funny!!! reflectin over the last two episodes guy has actually slid down a notch or two on my rating of him!!!

dont get me wrong i still think guy and caroline should get together but only if guy gets his funny and cocky side back!!!

the very last scene in last nights episode helped me like him again but only cos of his facial expressions....... :lol:

i think that guy and caroline will end up together in ep8, cos caro finds out about mac and sues baby, and so she leaves mac and ends up with guy, but then in ep9 mac wins back caro, and guy leaves on the train, cos he cant bear to be near caro and mac....

ooor there is a "train chase" scene, where guy leaves to go back to switzerland to find his father, as he cant bear to be near caroline and mac when they are happy together, but then caro finds out about mac's baby, and then decides to leave him, and realises guy really loves her and has left so she can be happy (he leaves her a note) and so caroline chases him down the train system, (guy isnt very good at the train system - he doesnt get it) and so caroline gets a fast train to marylebone, hoping she will catch him, (she knows where he was going- this was also in his note) and does so and they walk off into the sunset together....

I think Guy is sweet but I'm still a 100% Mac/Caroline shipper.... they have to be together, all the obstacles are there, they will overcome them.... :D

I have to say that I agree with the Mighty Aphrodite on this one - As much as Guy likes Caroline, and as sweet as it is to watch, they are not going to end up together in the long term - Mac and Caro are. Otherwise, all the events of the last two series would have been utterly pointless; had the writers been intending for an eventual Guy/Caro pairing, they'd have built up an on/off relationship with them all the way through, instead of Mac and Caroline.

They only way I forsee Guy coming between Mac and Caroline is if Mac finds out about the result of their little poker game a few weeks ago. This may well be combined with the fact that Guy maybe slept with Holly while she was with Mac all those years ago (this is just gross speculation I point out - I just have a theory that Guy is Mackenzie's real dad!) and the betrayal Mac feels at these events could easily drive either him, or Guy, away, hense the train station scene.
Let's just hope that if it's Mac who decides to run away, the "laughing/crying/kissing scene is once he's been persuaded to stay, and not a last goodbye until the Christmas epi!

i thought that the moment they said "black hair" - i was (watchin this by myself btw) sitting with my mouth open thinking "they would NOT do that!!" but tis such an obv storyline now... they wouldnt have mentioned it otherwise.... aahhhh
