Ah, well no. I hate to say it but you haven't met Mac, you met JRT. Mac, sadly is a work of fiction, though I can see how you'd confuse the two, they seem to be quite similar in personality.
But yes, that said, I still think you're one of the stronger candidates. I won't go quashing people's dreams :)
