Apparently, Holly, the baby-killer, could be making a return. I can't remeber who the actress who will be playing her is, but she's from Smack The Pony.

Anyway, dunno if anyone knew already but I felt really sad when it got brought up in the first series and poor old Mac was being taunted by Guy.

Ooh, that's going to put a spanner in the works for Mac and Caroline... I mean, he's going to be all angry and upset (maybe? who knows what's she going to do...) and Caroline will probably be feeling sad again, although I can't blame her, she's had a lot to deal with this series already!

i've got this weeks and next week's Radio Times They have character and cast listings as well. lists Holly as being in this one and next one. Though she has no surname, so she can't be too deeply involved :rolleyes:

the ep guides are all over the place tho, the C4 website for it has interesting episode guides....

mmm but didnt JRT mention that emily was going to be in this one quite a bit? or was that about the last series? if it wasnt that will probably be the next 'distraction'. Poor Mac!!

as far as i can see, there isn't any mention of Emily, and they'd have to squeeze her in the last couple of eps, maybe he has to choose between them!! he's better choose right...grrrrr! :swearing

In tonight's episode (Friday 21st), which is the fourth of the eight episodes making up this new series, Guy is looking for some new accommodation - is he going to end up moving into Caroline's room which has recently been vacated by Angela? Sally Phillips joins the cast as the new staff member Holly who manages to upset the apple cart very quickly. Oh and IT guru Lyndon is back, which will no doubt cause Joanna to have a few hot flushes.

We've been doing a bit of sleuthing and have found out a couple of interesting plot developments coming up over the remaining episodes. If you don't want to read these spoilers please skip down to the next green bar now. Quite a few people discussing Green Wing on the net don't want to be subjected to spoilers so if you do discuss these snippets elsewhere please try and be considerate and carefully flag the items below so other readers can avoid them if they so wish.

Firstly, who remembers all the discussion around who's funeral it was on the BBC Imagine documentary clip shown a while ago? Well, we at the British Sitcom Guide are now almost 100% certain it is Angela's funeral! It seems that her trip from the hospital to the world of TV doesn't go quite as smoothly as she would have liked!

We have heard that there will be a wedding later in the series which should be an exciting talking point. Who it is taking part though we'll have to wait and see! We guess the odds on favourites must be for Mac and Caroline to get hitched now their romance appears to be starting up again but the question is, is a wedding between the two doctors too predictable in the crazy world of Green Wing?

Keeping watching - there will be a murder some time in the next few weeks too! One of the staff kills somebody. We don't know any more than that. Is Angela the victim or is it someone else?

Poor Sally Phillips, hoped they warned her beforehand that she'd be a hated character :D I think she did a good job of it though, very convincing, and everyone hates her, so, result! :)

One thing that did spring to mind in this episode was did Caroline ever find out the real story of Mac and Holly? Because after Guy had been stabbed, he told her "she told him she loved him, he got her pregnant and dumped her", or something like that, but I can't remember her being told the truth. Hmm.

I still to watch last night's episode (stupid tape recorder didn't work. grrrr. Thank God for re-runs!) so I've been spending most of the day with my fingers in my ears going LA LA LA LA....

lol sally did a good job of making people able to hate her lol... we all do, and they brought holly back at like the WORST point possible!!!

i wonder if the directers told her to act as annoying as possible and say things like 'Caroline's already gone? oh dear!' in such a sarcastic tone...grrr! she's such a liar! she is so out to get mac back!!

of course she is, otherwise she wouldnt have been there in the first place, she wouldnt have split up with her husband, and SHE WOULDNT HAVE WALKED IN WHEN MAC WAS ABOUT TO KISS CAROLINE AGAIN!!! aaahhh lol.. im just annoyed lol
