I think the fact that he moved constantly throughout his coma (considering he launched the ping-pong ball as well as closing his mouth and kept his hands on Caroline's arse when she put them there) was meant to be comedic... I'm pretty sure it was planned anyway :lol:

There seemed to be bits where he was smirking, maybe it was those crazy dreams he was having :) I liked the first episode though, and it was infuriating in a good way that he didn't remember Caroline, gives the series a bit more interest I feel.

Well to play a harmonica all you do have to do is breath in and out of the thing (I know I have one) so as he was only unconscience and not dead, it would be possible :)

I am convinced Mac's hand moved of its own accord when the ping pong bat was removed as well :o

did anyone think it was weird that when mac woke up he could only remember caroline as the new girl and nothing about their relationship and yet remember that he went out with emmy even though she didnt come into it until ep 6 or 7, and he had known caroline a lot longer? i know his memory was meant to be patchy, but surely it would have been more likely that he would've remembered more about caroline.

yeah, cos she "asked him out" when he was going out with emmy, so surely hw would remember that? unless it was just a case of "i remember my last girlfriend" thingy...

at the end of the day i think the storyline was was just something to come betwen them but its not even about them going out or anything what i mean is wouldnt he remember her as a friend. they had become really close friends by the end of s1, just like he was with angela for example cos when he went back to the hospital he was really freindly with angela and remembered who she was.
