All in all, it was a middling start to the series.
I felt that there were a few funny gags, and a lot of randomness...namely Sue White.

the laugh out loud moments:
The kitten and the gun.
Guy and Nick Frost in the bar "no, I've had your mother
Guy - "I haven't murdered anyone" :D
Caroline's "I need you to harvest my parsley patch" or whatever the line was. Her dialogue for that scene in fact: her reading out the mag "and the bike and i love you and you are the one...55cc engine..."

The uncomfortable, not sure moments:
Martin and Karen kissing
Sue and her litmus test fanny.
Mac's surreal dreams. I'm sorry, but that gay wrestling thing with Guy was just...worrying :unsure:

Mac/Caroline lost! :cry
I don't want to see the return of Lady Emily! :(

Aw I thought last night's show was brilliant!!

The opening scene had me in stitches!! And then.. NICK FROST!!

Could the show be any better? :D

I liked the dead hamster moment and having to take a ticket in order to visit Mac.

Um not sure about the "dream sequences" and then the dead daddy long legs scene was probably a bit too long. And I'm very worried that Sue White has actually managed to marry Mac (did she have witnesses :unsure: ) and as for inpregnating herself :angry:

But I loved it :)

I know I have no right to offer my opinion on here - I've been shockingly inactive :blush but I'm gonna go ahead and do it anyway.

I agree that it was middling as far as episodes go. If I was a first time viewer I wouldn't be falling over myself to watch it again (although Julian Rhind Tutt in a silver suit and his 'oh f*ck I've killed a doctor' would be tempting :P ) but then again I didn't really think much of the first episode of Season One either...

I was out last night (horrific, I know) but I taped it and watched it this morning. I was absolutely terrified that it was going to be awful from reviews, but it wasn't as bad as I imagined. the Mac/Guy dream scene was a bit too much but the other scene with the Mac boyband was really funny.

I think we could have done without the scene with Sue impregnating herself as well. But, it was ok. Hopefully it will get better as the series goes on.

loved everything about it especially the randomness that is sue,not sure about the her -mac-wedding-sperm thing bit odd.But the rest of it-pure class.

i found the "take that" boyband piss take quite funny though... cos i find sum boybands really pathetic and cloned so it made me laugh anyway...

i laughed at all the things that they did to mac when he was in a coma....

but nooo.... they cant use all that will-they-wont-they thing with caroline and mac if they are just going to ruin it all with mac's amnesia... i hope emmy doesnt take him back, and if she does (although its totally understandable!!! ;D) then thats a bit weird cos it was her that threw the beer on macs head... o well...

That was sooooooo funny. i was laugh so much. the kitten and the gun had me rolling on the floor. mac dream thing were a bit wierd though. slightly scarey. sue just made me cringe. haven't seen second episode yet can't wait to.

Oh and Alan playing ping pong with Mac and starting it by putting the ball in Mac's mouth, then pressing down on his chest to serve! :roflmao Oh, yes, and Alan's banging his head very hard on the wall, looking for the ball in the corridor later on. :lol:

Martin's song and Sue White's with the harmonicas made me laugh :P

i loved the bit with the take that piss take that made me laugh loads cos you look back on them and realise it was quite silly...

i really miss GW actually - i cant wait for the special!

BTW, the Take That take-off was my fave coma dream.

The Sparks one made me laugh, I watched a video of Sparks performing and Julian was doing the same movements and things with his hands like the lead singer does & Alan ahaha


The Take That song must have taken Julian ages, dressing up in diffo outfits and re-doing the same routine.

Alan is genius in the Sparks piss take. Sooo fecking funny.
