I've been meaning to post this for ages. Did anyone see Russell Brand's Dawn French's More Boys Who Do Comedy (if that makes any sense)? Russell was talking about his earlier career and said he used to do an act with Karl Theobald!! I never knew this!! That would have been great to see.

yes they went to drama school together - it's in his booky wook, Karl has been a good friend with him and he visited Russell when he was in rehab and stuff like that.

He was also mentioned once on his radio show and it made me all happy

Wow, this is really interesting (not the reading in bed bit particularly but the whole thing). I'm considering buying this book for my mum, actually, so I'll probably have to nick it if I do. :P

I know this is going a bit off topic but it seemed a logical place to post this, sorry.

What's the writing style of this book like? Russell has this uncanny knack with language in that he's v. articulate and erudite but also v. colloquial and common-sounding. I'm wondering what sort of style he writes in and how easy to read or well-flowing it is... Opinions of anyone who's read it, please?...

I think it's written how he speaks, i only read a chapter and a bit, (only because i nicked it off a friend, not because it is rubbish, it's not, it's good!)
