OK I don't know how many people know about the yuletide fic exchange thing. But there have been 6 green wing stories written for it (not by me - author reveal is today). If anyone wants to read them they are here.

they are very good, but i will forget to look to see who wrote them,. if anyone finds out before me can you post it.

the style of writing is very much like greenwing, but some of the language isnt, i feel.

:high Thanks for posting about this, Enzo. Woooooooooo!!! More GW fic!!! :woohoo I've never come across this Yuletide fic exchange thing but is it like Secret Santa, where an anonymous person writes a fic for someone? It's a fic instead of a present? Would've been great if we'd done that here or written a fic with a certain member in for them!

My faves of these are Butch Macartney and the Secretan Kid and Hairsplitting - they were both v. GW indeed. The characters were as near to perfect as you can expect and some of the dialogue was stunning.

I agree about some of the language, though, Chapman, yes. It is hard to get characters' speech right sometimes, though, I think. Even what has been written by the actual writers is often changed and improved by the actors.
