A one-off punchy drama:about divorce; unscrupulous lawyers and a resourceful daughter.
the websiteWho Gets The Dog
Sunday 2 December 2007 9:00pm - 10:55pm on ITV1.
Jack and Jenny appear to have it all: solid jobs, a great home and a loving daughter, Claire. But under the surface their marriage is at breaking point, and the final straw comes when Jenny discovers that Jack has been having an affair. Although their friends advise them strongly against getting solicitors involved, both Jack and Jenny are pushed into it by the actions of the other. Jenny hires the dynamic, sexy Tara Walker and Jack hires Steve Hollister, a young hotshot from a rival firm.
Tara and Steve meet at a Law Society event and are immediately attracted to each other. Their mutual interest is further piqued by the discovery that they are representing opposing clients. The battleground of Jack and Jenny’s divorce becomes the platform upon which Steve and Tara act out their flirtation. They make a bet on the outcome: whoever loses the divorce case will pay for a torrid weekend away.

I've changed it for you but you can do it by clicking on the edit button of the first post and then you can change the subject line etc. :)
:excited :excited :excited I remember hearing a few things about this q. a while ago. I hope it won't be as much of a disappointment as Steve's comedy showcase. I'll be recording it, anyway. :D
Thanks v. much for the info, Chapman.

Little_Simba - November 29, 2007 04:23 PM (GMT)
...and Long Way Down. :( <_<
Chapman - November 29, 2007 05:28 PM (GMT)
long way down is quite good at being on youtube, and is repeated on a tues or wed i think
not so sure about cranford, it may be a case of record one, and watch the other
Little_Simba - November 29, 2007 06:18 PM (GMT)
That's true; I forgot Long Way Down is repeated. :) I'll see what my dad says about waiting until Tues to see it. Wish me luck! :P

well did anyone aside from me watch it? I thought that girl Claire was so stupid oh my gosh, and she was supposed to be in uni  she was acting like she was 12 for most of the show.
I did like the ending, and Alison Steadman just rules bless her, dunno what I thought about Steve's role really. I can understand why he thought it wasn't going to get broadcasted though
Chapman - December 3, 2007 04:32 PM (GMT)
i watched it!
didnt like the female lawyer, and claire was very immature,
wasnt the best programme steve has been in,
but it must have been useful having his character called steve as well.

Why?...
I've recorded it but haven't watched it yet.

I think Steve's getting a bit Hugh Granty at the moment and it would be nice to see him in some more Daniel Cleaver/Guy Secretan roles if that makes any sense.
The whole program just wasn't that great to me. Nothing particularly original and I agree that Claire was very odd.
