So, for everyone who doesn't read things, IMO came up with a brilliant idea.

Essentially, we will stage the Great Forum Catch Up.

We can have a time table, and watch each episode regularly, at the same time (say once a week) and then discuss it in the appropriate threads and write drabbles/fics about it and then, if there's enough (and I feel up to it. :)), we could have a Lyndons. :D

So, what do people think?

Well, my suggestion would be that we have two weeks per ep. This means that people have time to watch them because limiting it to too short a time period would be hard because some people just won't be able to do it.

I don't mind when we start. Maybe we should vote on that. Shall I make a poll asking when people want to start?

Is the idea to have a thread for each ep (We already have one for each of many.) and use it to talk about it it after our viewing of it?

As we've already got a thread for every single episode, I think we should just carry on using them :)

IMO, yeah, I'm like that as well and I'm sure I'll be watching q. a few eps at once but, the way I see it, as long as we have watched them close enough to the allocated fortnight in which the discussion of them takes place, that should be all right because the main idea of this is to reactive the GW part of the forum, isn't it? so as long as we talk about the eps and know what we're talking about in the threads, it will be a success.

Ah, there's another old member I miss. I was thinking, actually, shall I contact some of the old regulars to see if they'd be interested in coming back for this? I do miss so many who left.

I don't mind if we have new threads for each ep but is there any point if they're going to be merged, anyway? I'd say we either start new ones and keep them separate or stick with the already existing ones. Just my opinion, though, and you must remember I am thick so... lol.

oh my giddy aunt, its been AGES since i was on here!!! wasnt quite sure where to post this, so i thought, meh! how is everyone? i'm a bit behind on the catch-up, (ie havent started) but i am definitely doing that! aw, missed you guys! i seriously dont know why i stopped coming on, just stupidity i guess! cx

don't worry, I'm really bad and I haven't started the catch up either, but i may do this week if i find time.....

my excuse is that i cant find the first dvd, i have the second third and then the special (only on VHS) , all others are missing, and i dont think i have a video player anymore, :(

I, too, have failed to do my bit on the Great GWFF Catch Up so 'confound me'!!! I apologise for that and also for my absence here of late. I've been devoting more of my time to what I really need to, tbh, which is good, of course. I've got my course which I'm far too behind with so I'm working more on that and, in general, although I shouldn't speak to soon, I think I'm more committed this year to making improvements in my life and actually getting off my arse and getting more things done. I'm, therefore, finding myself prioritising more responsibly and, while this forum is always great, sometimes there just isn't time. :( I'm not leaving or anything but, yeah, I am sorry I'm not here as much nowadays and I am particularly sorry about my failure to have watched the GW eps I should have watched by now. I am still more than happy to talk about them in the threads, though... :) I'll post as much and as often as I can.
